Good option for a quick light lunch. We had the mac&cheese and ham with eggs, and later cake as dessert; the food was good and reasonably priced. Portion sizes can vary between dishes. The dining area was quite busy but tidy. The service was friendly, a bit slower at peak lunch time.

in response to the two reviews below: i was actually in the cafe when the incident described in the last two reviews happened. from what me and my friend could see, a table of 3 had been waiting for some time for a table to become available which ended up being the table the you sat on. i understand you were offered the table by the people leaving however the other group had been waiting for it. the waitress came over and politely asked if you wouldn’t mind moving over to the table of two that was next to it. i appreciate it wasn’t ideal and was tricky with crutches but equally it was awkward for her as 3 people had been waiting for the table you sat on. i don’t remember anyone being rude or aggressive as you put it. as far as i could see, she just politely asked if you could move over. me and my friends discovered bonneys a few months ago and ever since have been coming back often for catch ups. staff are always attentive, service is great and the food is always delicious! it’s upsetting to see the reviews below as we’ve always had a lovely experience every time we have visited.

Really lovely breakfast, it feels like it’s cooked with love and care. Everything is just perfect. The scrambled eggs and smoked salmon are delicious, and my husband raves about the Big breakfast. The service is always brilliant, and it is dog friendly With a dog biscuit on offer for Pooches.

Always stop here for breakfast when we take my dogs to the vet. Dog friendly place, dogs always get a treat and a bowl of water. The staff are really friendly, there is a good choice on the menu but I usually have the big breakfast with tea. The food is good quality and always nice and hot. Prices are reasonable, but for me it's worth it as the food quality is so good. Everything is spotless. They cope with my wife's allergy well. The chef normally pops out to say "Hi". If you are in Battle, this is a great place to eat.

Nice little cafe.. I had a little wait to get a diet coke, but it got quite busy after I arrived as there was a lot going on and it is a bank holiday! My food came out piping hot and really tasty. They had a varied menu, and I would go back to sample other items from the menu! There wasn't a huge amount of seating as only a small place, so quite a few people were turned away, but again, it was extremely busy in Battle. Friendly staff.

A little gem. We had a lovely lunch here, flatbread with various toppings, delicious. Loved the chunky chips too. The service is was excellent, very pleasant staff who also helped by telling me I could pay for my parking from my table using Rinho as I had forgotten, this saved me getting a ticket! Would highly recommend, plenty of choice on the menu.
